Where are we headed?
The Hali & Cali Dormie Golf Tours are made up of two independent tours. Sign up for one or both.
The first is in Orange County, Southern California at the majestic 5* Waldorf Astoria, Monarch Beach Resort from Tuesday March 30th – Monday April 5th 2027 (6-nights). Limited to 16 people.
The second tour will be in Nova Scotia, Canada staying at the magnificent 5* Fox Harb’r Resort and 5* Cabot Cape Breton from Saturday June 19th – Thursday June 24th 2027 (5-nights). Limited to 12 people.
FAQ
Yes. We will be in a team of two. Best combined stableford points at the end of each day and a total aggregate score with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Option for player rotation if required. Your active GHIN, PGA Canada or other accredited handicap system required.
A 50% non refundable deposit is required to lock in your spot. The remaining balance is due by 25th November, 2026.
Cameras are allowed and please tag Dormie and TPG where appropriate. Please ensure this does not slow down the group. Drones are generally not allowed. We will have a videographer with us for parts of the tour who can share content after your round.
Absolutely. We encourage it. A big part of this experience is meeting new people who love golf and travel.
Yes. We cap handicaps for men at 18 and 28 for women to ensure a fair playing experience for everyone involved. Your active GHIN, PGA Canada or other accredited handicap system required.

All pricing is listed per person.
If you need to cancel, please inform gavin@thepuregolfer.com right away.
- Refunds will be issued only if your spot is taken by another participant
- Once taken, refunds will be processed minus a 5% processing fee.
- Inside 30 days of the event, a 10% cancellation fee will apply to filled spots
The Pure Golfer (TPG) is a luxury golf travel business based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. A friend of Dormie Workshop. TPG creates bespoke golf tours around the world for the discerning golfer. They are a proud member of IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators).
Each tour has prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The winners will receive a Challenger Belt, reminiscent of the one at the very first major championship, The Open at Prestwick. Handmade by Dormie Workshop. All participants will receive Dormie merch valued at $1,500USD.
