What to expect...
Nova Scotia has a nickname: Canada’s Ocean Playground. That sets the stage for an itinerary that has been designed to maximize your experience. Full of quality golf (including Canada’s #1 and #2 courses), private on-ground transfers, luxury accommodation and much more.
This will be a fast-paced, action-packed tour of our home, Nova Scotia, one of the most underrated golfing destinations in North America. Featuring links style golf and incredible food and drinks, it will be hosted by Todd Bishop (co-founder of Dormie Workshop) & Gavin Stewart (founder of TPG). This tour is limited to 12 people and is one not to be missed.
Day 1: Arrival Day
Arrive into Halifax (“Hali”) Stanfield International Airport mid-afternoon. We will coordinate the most favourable departure time in two private vehicles up to Fox Harb’r (approx 2 hour drive). Check in. Relax. Check the pins. Have a swim. Welcome drinks will be served before dinner at your leisure.
Day 2: Fox Harb'r, Vineyard Course
A full day of 36 holes awaits. Early breakfast around 7:30am, with a scheduled tee time starting at 9am on the Vineyard Course, an elegant inland layout which blends rolling terrain with a vineyard setting. After the round, enjoy a team lunch in the Willard before warming up for round two.
Day 2: Fox Harb'r, Ocean Course
Round two will be played on the newly designed Ocean Course. Stunning coastal links offer dramatic ocean views and a memorable round on one of Nova Scotia’s newest golf courses. Designed by Doug Carrick and Tom McBroom, this will be a day to remember. After golf, retreat to your room before dinner at Cape Cliff with the crew.
Day 3: Northumberland Links
Enjoy breakfast before a private transfer to Northumberland Links, the definition of a true links gem. This course flies under the radar, but locals know about it. After the round, we’ll take the 3 hour drive through the beautiful NS scenery up to Cabot Cape Breton for the next chapter. Check in to Cabot at around 6pm and enjoy dinner at Whit’s Pub. A short stroll from your bedroom.
Day 4: Cabot Links & The Nest
Today is the day for Cabot Links, designed by Rod Whitman and ranked the #2 golf course in Canada. Grab breakfast at The Pantry or Panorama and warm up for golf. After 18 holes you have the option of playing The Nest (a par 3 short course). Relax with sundowners before dinner at Panorama.
Day 5: Cabot Cliffs & The Nest
Take an early morning run along the beach, or have a morning coffee looking out over The Links. After breakfast, we will take a shuttle over to The Cliffs, Canada’s #1 ranked golf course designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. After golf, get another round in at The Nest or relax and get ready for an evening of prize-giving and a private farewell dinner.
Day 6: Departure Day
Early breakfast and check out. Private transfer back to Halifax Stanfield International Airport for your onwards journey. Option to stay in Halifax for a night or two and play some local golf.
Accommodation
Fox Harb’r
Fox Harb’r offers luxurious, beautifully appointed accommodation overlooking the resort’s championship golf course and stunning coastal landscape. The resort is set on 1,150 acres and hugs the Northumberland Strait shoreline. The resort also features an award-winning spa, including an indoor swimming pool, mineral pool, hot tub, steam room and a sauna. Perfect for post round recovery.
Your room is an executive suite on the ground floor with king size bed, and an average size of 638 sq ft. The bathroom features a soaking bath tub, standalone walk-in shower, heated granite floors & double vanity.
Cabot Cape Breton
Cabot Cape Breton has become known around the world for being one of the best ‘off-grid’ golf resorts in the world. Recently awarded No. 3 Best Resort in Canada by Travel + Leisure. You will be staying in The Lodge, which is located on The Cabot Links side of the property, walking distance to the pro-shop, 1st tee, Panorama Restaurant and Whit’s Pub.
Your room is a Cabot King, with an average size of 390 sq ft. It has floor-to-ceiling windows that provide completely unobstructed views of the golf course and rugged coastline. The bathroom has a walk-in rainfall shower, Italian robes, and L’Occitane bath products.

A 50% non refundable deposit is required to lock in your spot. The remaining balance is due by February 1st, 2027.
Absolutely. We encourage it. A big part of this experience is meeting new people who love golf and travel.
Yes. We cap handicaps for men at 18 and 28 for women to ensure a fair playing experience for everyone involved. Your active GHIN, PGA Canada or other accredited handicap system required.
If you have another person or twosome, please submit your request directly after registration with gavin@thepuregolfer.com
Yes. We will be in a team of two. Best combined stableford points at the end of each day and a total aggregate score with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Option for player rotation if required.
